Which curriculum does New Nation School follow?

From the Nursery Department to the Lower Secondary Department, we follow a curriculum modeled on the British National Curriculum.

 

Students in Upper Secondary Department follow a two-year course leading to IGCSE examinations and then follow a further two-year course leading to Advanced Level examinations, administered by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), UK.

At what age can my child be admitted to the various classes?

We have a minimum age for entry into each year group. Students must have attained the specified age by the end of the month of August preceding the beginning of the Academic Year.

Is there a boarding school?

We are currently developing a boarding facility for our secondary students.

What about children with special educational needs?

We are sometimes able to admit children with special educational needs. Often, it is necessary for parents to engage a personal assistant for their child. Kindly contact our administrator (on 024 308 4874) for more information.

Where is New Nation School?

The Nursery department is located at the First Campus (the premises of City of God Church) which is situated in Ashalley Botwe. The address is: H332 Nii Amasa Nikoi Avenue, GD-090-0893.

All other departments are accommodated at the Second Campus (which is a fifteen-minute drive away, beyond the Lakeside Estates).  The address is: GK-0884-3968.

Is New Nation School a Christian School?

New Nation School is a Christian school – that is, Christian values are taught and upheld – but students of all faiths are welcome to enroll so long as they are willing to participate in all the activities of the school.

What time does school start and end?

Nursery: 7.40 am – 3.00 pm

Primary & Secondary: 8.00 am – 3.40 pm (students should ideally arrive by 7.45 am to prepare for their 8.00 am start.)
