With a little background on each

    What is the IGCSE Programme?

The IGCSE Programme is a two-year course of study leading to the IGCSE examinations.   ‘IGCSE’ stands for International General Certificate of Secondary Education.

IGCSE examinations are administered by CAIE (Cambridge Assessment International Education) which is part of the University of Cambridge in the UK.

    IGCSEs are exciting!

    Subjects offered at IGCSE

We offer sixteen IGCSE subjects. These are listed below in alphabetical order, with their syllabus numbers.

To find out more about each syllabus, visit the CAIE website (www.cambridgeinternatioal.org).  Check that you are looking at the right syllabus by using the syllabus numbers above.  The year mentioned on the syllabus should be the year that you will sit for your IGCSE examinations.

You can also find links to Past Questions, Mark Schemes and Examiners’ Reports on the website.

    Choosing Your IGCSE Subjects

The table below has been designed to assist students as they make their subject choices.  There are eight rows in the table and students select one subject from each row.

In the first three rows there is only one subject shown – these are the compulsory subjects, so there is no choice!  All other rows have a choice of subjects and students should select one subject per row.
